LVBC Tutor Applicants must first attend an Orientation (information) session to apply to the next LVBC Tutor Training Session. Class size and space is limited!

We would like to acknowledge the support we receive from the Berkshire Athenaeum, which, since 1980, has provided us space for our administrative offices and tutor library, from Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts, a statewide organization funded by the Massachusetts Department of Education, the City of Pittsfield, Berkshire Gas and the generosity of individual philanthropists.
We are able to provide free confidential services to our students thanks to the generosity of our many individual donors, community partners and private foundations.
