Who We Are

Literacy Volunteers of Berkshire County (LVBC) was founded in 1980 and is located at the Berkshire Athenaeum, Pittsfield's public library. Our trained and qualified volunteers provide 1-1 tutoring to adults in basic reading and writing, and conversational English for speakers of other languages (ESOL).
